The ultimate New Orleans guide 🎶🎷
Traveled back to my alma mater, Tulane University, for the week and here is everything we did...
So I just landed last night from a very fun 5 days in New Orleans... Sadly the St Patricks Day parade we flew in to see got cancelled cause of the weather and there was a storm all of Saturday. But we persevered! As some of you know I went to Tulane University from the years of 2015-2019 (roll wave!) But because of the pandemic/covid etc. my last two trips I planned since graduating were cancelled. So this was the first time I have been back with my college roommates since we graduated 🍾

Thankfully a lot hasn't changed since then. Of course there is some new hot spots like Acamaya, Miss River, Mosquito Super Club, Dakar among others but a lot of the hottest spots are still hot. Which made it easy for planning purposes. I mainly went back to our neighborhood favorites and special occasion spots. I want to start by saying I wouldn’t recommend spending your entire trip in the French Quarter. There is a lot more to see in the Bywater, Marigny, Garden District and Uptown areas. French quarter isn’t the best representation of the amazing restaurants, hotels and cafes that NOLA has to offer and you may not enjoy it as much. But up to you!
I stayed at a newer boutique hotel uptown called The Chloe which I LOVED. They had a great pool (although at times was over run by Tulane students), delicious drinks and even better food. I didn’t mind the students though, I thought it made for a fun atmosphere. But of course made me a little nostalgic of my time here…
