Everywhere I ate: 48 hours in Paris 🇫🇷
+ a full guide to my favorite spots in Paris!
Technically its 54 hours but here we go:
Where I stayed:
Pavillon de la Reine & Spa - If you are looking for somewhere super calm, chic and luxurious this is the spot. It’s in the most gorgeous courtyard in the Marais across from the Place des Vosges. The location is unbeatable. However it isn’t the most upbeat/lively. There is only an honor bar and it doesn’t have the buzziest night time scene but if you are looking for something serene with a spa this is perfect
La Fantaisie - If you want to stay on a fun, busy block in a vibey hotel this is your spot. Their rooftop garden is stunning and always has people drinking. The daily breakfast and dining room are also great. Oh and a sick spa/pool. The location is in Montmartre so not as central as staying in the 1st but lots of exploring to do there!
Le Grand Mazarin - This is where I will be staying next. Very similar in aesthetic to La Fantaisie but bigger and in the Marais. Super colorful rooms and an amazing bar/restaurant
Where I ate/drank
Day 1 (Landed at 9:30 AM)
11am: Carette - Great for a quick coffee/hot chocolate but I would not plan a full meal here (our eggs were a great soft scramble but freezing cold). The location next to Pavilion De La Reine is really cute and in the sun outside
2pm: Loulou - So basic and over done but if it’s nice out it’s so much fun to sit and sip rose outside. The truffle pizza is also delish. Make sure to have your hotel book it and note that you want outside (it’s not guaranteed but if your hotel makes it, it helps)
8:30pm: Bistrot Paul Bert - I LOVE the steak au poivre here I think you need to order your own and dip your fries in the sauce. Everything else was fine. Except the foie gras and the scallops, those were great. Its kind of bright inside and not the most romantic atmosphere
10:30pm: Serpent a Plume - Went here for their underground jazz night after dinner and it was SO much fun. It’s on every other Wednesday so check their instagram to see the programming. But if you are looking for live music this is it
